"kiss my butt"
When the twins receive a 'correction"- a spank on the butt-, we hold them, give a kiss, and discuss what they should have done instead (like obey the first time, don't shout NO to mommy, etc, whatever was wrong). There is usually crying, well there is ALWAYS crying. Now instead of just crying "kiss me!" Jude shouts "kiss my butt!" after correction. LOL JUDE!!! You make me laugh so much , I love you.

"Put down the trees"
About an hour after we tucked Jude in, I heard him crying and went into his room. He said, "mommy, can you put the trees down?" humm, he was in his bed in his room, no "tree in sight." I asked a couple more times what he meant and he tugged at his shirt and it still sounded like "put down the trees." Then I realized he was talking about his shirt! awww, I put him in a short sleeve shirt to sleep in and he wanted me to "pull the sleeves down." I grabbed a long sleeve shirt and changed him. So happy, so adorable!! I LOVE THAT BOY!

New favorite memory
Pretty much every day I have a new favorite memory of my kids! Today, after Petra woke up from her nap, we snuggled on her new twin bed (finally out of a crib) and read a book together. She put her arms around me to snuggle, hug, and said "you're so pretty." That's because she hears me say that to her a million times a day! I would work another 2 and a half years for that precious moment!!
Then Jude offered me a pretzel and said "here, Walter the Baker made it for you." HA HA! We have been reading Walter Baker for almost 2 years... so cute to see him bring one of our favorite stories into daily life.
